here's our little story

Planning Pretty was founded by Camille Simmons in 2012 as a decor and lifestyle blog.  She quickly learned the ropes and began collaborating with major brands to create styled content and promote products. In 2016, Camille decided to curate her own set of products into a brick & mortar and online store with her husband Joe in the Historic Bluff Park neighborhood of Long Beach, California.  The store was filled with products influenced by her travels to Europe, her Southern heritage and her love of entertaining.  Now the products are available online and the designs she shared as a blogger over the years, are curated in one place.  The shop features brands such as ban.do, Rifle Paper Co., Esselle SF, Graphic Anthology, Pinky Up, and many more! Many of the brands found in the store are owned or created by female entrepreneurs! As she travels and explores the world, the shop will welcome new brands that represent a modern feminine style with a nod to tradition.  Camille also plans to develop her own line of decor and products catered to modern feminine style and has hopes of publishing books that will others find their stye and create a home that they love. 

 

 

 

 

 

  

While the brick & mortar store is no longer open, Planning Pretty continues to offer unique and beautiful tableware, decor and gifts online and ship all over the U.S. and many international countries.  

Camille loves sharing her personal story and decorating on Instagram.  Her styling and designs have been featured on HGTV.com, Moyi Magazine, Romantic Homes, Domino.com and Apartment Therapy.
